Gail Davies was born and raised in England, diligently studying ballet, tap and jazz. She began her career doing pantomimes and traveling with various musicals, and in the late 80’s migrated to Las Vegas, Nevada where she finished her dance career in the famed “Siegfried & Roy Show” at the Mirage Resort. By the time she was settled in America, she committed to becoming a fulltime choreographer/director. Early on, she put together showcases using dancers and singers from Las Vegas shows. She did much more than choreography. She hired a costume designer, lighting designer, set designer and made professional sound tracks. This approach became her standard, which paid off in a big way, as now she directs and choreographs multi-million dollar productions around the world. She is in high demand as she can discuss issues covering the full realm of stage production.

Gail’s client list reads like an international who’s who. For Disney she has contributed numerous projects as Choreographer, including the Emmy nominated Super Bowl 2000 Half Time Show in Atlanta. Gail acted as Choreographer, Co-Director and creative team member for the large scale television production.

Gail was Co-Director & Choreographer for the 2002 Paralympics Winter Games Opening and Closing Ceremonies, which won an Emmy Award for Best Direction, Daytime Programming. She choreographed for Berlin's famed Friedrichstadtpalast, the largest revue in Europe as well as the Heineken Night Live Pop Concert with British director Anthony Van Laast to a live audience of 20,000 in Holland.

During her time in Holland, she solidified a connection with Stage Entertainment, one of the largerst production companies in the world. She has done several projects for Stage, including her ongoing work with Hans Klok, choreographing and directing his Las Vegas show at Planet Hollywood with Pamela Anderson and his current hit European tour.

Gail has also choreographed and directed stage shows for such prestigious cruise lines as Disney Cruise Line, American Viking Line, Carnival Cruises, and Japan Cruise Lines. Now she has added producer to her resume with 6 shows running aboard NYK Cruises 5 star ship, the Asuka II.

Currently Gail will be directing and choreographing the large scale production musical, “On Eagle’s Wing,” which brings to life the history of the Scots/Irish in the 1600's in their quest to find Zion in the new world called America. "This musical is a huge undertaking," says Gail, "and it is important that the dance styles match the era." "Also it will be a challenge to stage such a large scale dance show and at the same time direct the actors, lighting cues, music and fight scenes as well."

Gail has obviously attained some lofty credits. She lives to dance and her life is a graceful integration of her skills. It's exciting to contemplate what the next project will be. Her goal is to choreograph an original musical on Broadway or London's famed West End. Whatever it may be, she will approach it with integrity and will bring her skills and experience to the table. The great stages of the world await and welcome her.
